Position Summary :

Our sales representatives are responsible for promoting and selling our services to potential customers, helping to grow membership and engagement. The role requires a combination of sales skills, knowledge of fitness and kickboxing, and excellent communication abilities. Here's an outline of responsibilities, skills, and strategies that could define the role:

Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Acquisition:

  • Attracting new members by reaching out to leads through phone calls, emails, social media, and in-person consultations.

  • Conducting gym tours and providing potential members with information on memberships, classes, and facilities.

  1. Sales Conversion:

  • Closing sales by enrolling prospective members into gym memberships.

  • Offering and promoting special deals, discounts, and packages (e.g., trial classes, promotions).

  1. Follow-Up:

  • Nurturing leads and following up with interested individuals who have not yet signed up.

  • Maintaining relationships with current and past members to encourage renewals and referrals.

  1. Customer Service:

  • Handling customer inquiries and resolving issues or concerns.

  • Ensuring the satisfaction of existing members to foster long-term retention.

  1. Administrative Tasks:

  • Maintaining accurate records of leads, memberships, and sales.

  • Processing memberships and payments, ensuring proper documentation and database updates.

  1. Marketing Collaboration:

  • Collaborating with the marketing team to create and execute promotions, events, and advertisements that attract new members.

  • Promoting the gym’s social media presence and assisting with online campaigns.

  1. Target Achievement:

  • Meeting or exceeding sales goals and targets set by the gym.

  • Reporting on sales activities and performance metrics.

Skills & Qualities:

  1. Sales Expertise:

  • Strong communication and persuasive skills.

  • The ability to close sales and overcome objections.

  1. Customer Focused:

  • A friendly, approachable personality with a passion for fitness and kickboxing.

  • Empathy and the ability to understand customer needs.

  1. Goal-Oriented:

  • Focused on meeting monthly or quarterly sales targets.

  1. Time Management:

  • Effectively managing appointments, tours, and follow-ups while balancing administrative duties.

  1. Knowledge of Fitness & Kickboxing:

  • Understanding the benefits of kickboxing and fitness training, able to articulate how the gym’s services can help clients reach their fitness goals.

  • Being able to explain class schedules, membership tiers, and pricing clearly.

  1. Digital Proficiency:

  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software and membership management systems.

  • Comfortable using social media platforms to engage with potential members.

Sales Strategies:

  1. Lead Generation:

  • Partner with local businesses, schools, and community organizations to generate leads.

  • Host introductory kickboxing classes or free events to attract people to the gym.

  1. Word-of-Mouth & Referrals:

  • Encourage satisfied members to refer friends or family.

  • Offer incentives or discounts for successful referrals.

  1. Trial Classes & Promotions:

  • Offering free or discounted trial classes to entice potential members to experience the gym.

  • Seasonal promotions to encourage sign-ups.

  • Use email marketing or SMS to follow up with leads who’ve shown interest but haven’t signed up yet.
